Yeeaah it’s EID! And the most interesting part of Eid is eidi. Of course! On this very special day everyone is trying to get more money from here and there. Everyone makes excuses to get more money out of their elders’ pockets. And the best part is that even the mums don’t scold their kids asking for money!
But, sometimes things get complicated, and it’s not easy at times, LOL! All you want is a good amount of eidi by the end of 3 days of Eid. Have you been through any of these situations below?
1. When your ‘choti khushiyaan’ goes into your ammi’s purse
2. The only thing you are excited about eid is Eidi, of course!
3. And, then we have those "not so ameer rishtedaars".
4. When you start working, and all the kids gather around you for eidi. All you want to do is ESCAPE!
5. Those Kanjoos guests who just come to your house to enjoy the delicacies your mom has made, and leave without giving eidi.
6. And when you expect loads of eidi, but you don’t even get Rs. 1000.
7. When you’re told “you’re too old for eidi”
8. That one rich uncle, who has a stack of fresh, crispy notes
9. WOW! Surprise, surprise!!

Eidi is directly proportional to the amount of guests you get to meet. This means: More guests = More richer you get. It’s simple maths. So invite your guests over, or go over to meet them!
